We had the opportunity to plan and run a carnival for the kids in the Kibutz's mercaz. Their ages range from kindergarten through sixth grade. Here, Max, Theo, and Lori are setting up their station: Fun with Oobleck (cornstarch and water).

What a wonderful thing you all did! Looks like everyone, big and small, had fun. (Note to Lori: Do not bring home recipe for Oobleck!)

The last time I played with Oobleck was when I was at hillel and I dropped some on the pavement outside the building. I watched it harden to form a hardened lump on the ground that stayed for days and left a white stain after it disappaered.

Whoops! clicked to soon! The jist of the story was that to this day there is a stain in front of Hillel roughly in the shape of a duck and this picture reminded me of it.

I think, if the truth be known, these "big" kids had more fun than the "little" kids. Am I right or what ??? (hehe)
